Dr Sep Tabatabaee has completed a three-year orthodontic training (in addition to his dental qualifications) at the University of Queensland where he obtained a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. He successfully finished UK qualification exams (MOrth) in 2015 and became a member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh . Dr Sep currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at Griffith University, teaching the orthodontists to future dentists.

Dr Sep has published in different fields in dentistry including periodontics and endodontics (European Endodontic Journal) and presented his research in orthodontics at the International Association for Dental Research conference (IADR) in 2015. He regularly attends local and international conferences and belongs to several dental study groups. 

Sep enjoys his spare time with his family and friends. If there is any time left, playing tennis, watching a sci-fi movie or reading a thriller would be next on the list.

Cathy received her Bachelor of Oral Health degree at the University of Queensland. She takes an individualised approach to all fields of dentistry for her patients to prevent dental complications and to improve their quality of life. Cathy also spends her spare time doing volunteer activities to reach population with higher dental needs, whenever there is an opportunity to. 

When Cathy is not busy at work, she enjoys playing sports, hiking and singing in a small social band. She also loves travelling and exposing herself to new cultures. Cathy is also an accomplished Korean speaker, hence is very happy to assist patients who prefer to communicate in Korean. 

She has also had both braces and Invisalign treatments with Wired Orthodontics! 

Alissa graduated with the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Queensland. She loves the fast-paced nature of orthodontics and the joy it can bring to people when they achieve their ‘perfect smile’!

During Alissa’s spare time, she loves to climb at her local bouldering gym, hiking, playing board games, watching horror movies, cooking and trying out new food joints. She also loves traveling and all the adventures that come with it.

Alissa can speak Mandarin and Taiwanese, hence is very happy to assist patients who prefer to communicate in those languages.

Liz qualified in the UK as a Hygienist and Therapist in 2006. She moved to Australia with her family 10 years ago and has been working as a hygienist in both Sydney and Brisbane. Liz loves the fast pace of orthodontics and seeing the amazing changes that develop over the patient's journey with us.

In her spare time when Liz is not busy with her two young children and numerous animals. She enjoys travelling, and running when she gets some free time.
